A disease seen in patients with lung cancer and characterized by weakness and fatigue of hip and thigh muscles and an aching back; caused by antibodies directed against the neuromuscular junctions. Synonyms: carcinomatous myopathy, Eaton-Lambert syndrome, Lambert-Eaton syndrome.
