Sea otter n. (Zool.) An aquatic carnivore (Enhydris lutris syn. Enhydris marina) found in the North Pacific Ocean. Its fur is highly valued, especially by the Chinese. It is allied to the common otter, but is larger, with feet more decidedly webbed.
